HARPER WOODS (WWJ) – A Kroger store in Harper Woods that was damaged after a semi truck driver crashed into it -  has reopened Sunday evening.

Officials say the truck driver came crashing into the back of the grocery store near 8 Mile Road and I-94 when another vehicle hit him and forced him off the freeway. The driver was killed in the accident.

A Kroger vendor near the store suffered minor injuries, and is expected to be okay. No one inside the store was hurt.
