Young Drummer Gets In Guinness World Records

DETROIT (WWJ) - Guinness World Records has recognized a Detroit-area boy as the youngest professional drummer.

Julian Pavone was certified as of March 21, 2010, when he was 5 years 10 months and 3 days old.

Julian is now seven and lives in Macomb Township. His family says he started playing drums when he was three months old and has appeared on over 150 TV shows, including Oprah and "Good Morning America."

Guinness' rules for getting into its book of world record-holders says a drummer must have played on at least one commercial recording and performed at least 20 concerts of 45 minutes or longer.
