Detroit Police Officer Dies Following Motorcycle Accident

MT. CLEMENS (WWJ) – A Detroit Police sergeant has died from injuries suffered in an off-duty motorcycle crash.

42-year-old Michael Martell crashed his motorcycle early Friday morning in St. Clair County’s Clay Township. He died Sunday at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements haven’t been released at this time.

    It’s very interesting to note that no news orginization has stated what his blood alcohol content was. Our news media in Michigan is so pathetic.
