Khang's Blog: Booing Brandon Inge

Lately we've been getting callers on the show saying that booing Brandon Inge means you're not a real Tigers fan. Even Inge has said he feels this way. I couldn't disagree more. If you are not happy with someone's play you have the right to show your displeasure by booing. As a fan you want to see your team do well. It's nothing personal it's all about results. Booing Inge doesn't mean that you're not a fan of the Tigers it just might mean you're not a fan of Brandon Inge or his play. And even if you're a fan of Inge's there is no way you can find his play of late as satisfactory. He's batting .074 since coming off the DL. I repeat .074 and .059 in the month of July! On top of his horrific bat he's not playing as well defensively at third as he used to. Inge may not be happy with the boos but until he turns it around he better get used to them.
