Five Ways Education Pays

Do the math of why going to college pays for young people.

The College Board has created a media campaign called “five ways education pays” to help kids and parents know why going to college is a good investment. The numbers may surprise you – people who go to college have better health, participate in more family cultural events, earn more money, are more regularly employed, and are more likely to vote.

Right now, school districts are using the facts in the campaign to help encourage students to graduate high school and then to enroll in community college or a four-year university.
