Real-Time Gas Prices From A GPS?

DETROIT (WWJ) - Several automakers are offering a way for drivers to search for the cheapest gas prices while they drive.

Ford and Audi are two of the automakers that allow you to search for the cheapest gasoline prices through the navigation systems in their cars.

You can search by brand of gasoline or by price, by which is the closest station to where you are or where you're going.

The automakers are using a company called Enrite to supply the information on gas station prices. And that company gets those up to the minute gas prices by data-mining credit card receipts.
