Court Appearances For Men Accused In Kidnapping 90-Year-Old

TAYLOR (WWJ) - Three of the men accused of kidnapping a 90-year-old man from his Taylor nursing home are expected to be in court on Monday.

Two of the men, ages 20 and 50, were arrested at a Ypsilanti motel where Floyd Pickrell was being held captive, according to WXYZ-TV. The third suspect was taken into custody on Saturday.

A fourth suspect, 50-year-old Darryl Howard from Detroit, appeared in court Saturday. He was charged with unlawful imprisonment.

Police believe the initial motive for the kidnapping is because the men believed Pickrell was wealthy and they wanted his money.
