TiE Detroit sets business plan competition: TiE Detroit has changed the date for its 2011 business venture competition. Five finalists will now make their pitches Friday, July 29 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Novi, 21111 Haggerty Road in Novi, in Ballroom D. The finalists are Arborwind LLC of Ann Arbor, GCI Global Healthcare of Farmington Hills, MitoStem of Detroit, Naan Stop of Ann Arbor and Environmental Transportation Solutions LLC of Grosse Pointe Woods. Admission is $15 for TiE Detroit members and $25 for nonmembers. Students are admitted free. To attend, visit this link.
