Vandals Attack Oxford Township Trucking Company

OXFORD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - An Oakland County trucking company will be out of business for at least a week after vandals attacked the company's trucks and damaged its offices.

Action Trucking owner Jeff Acton says it looks like a baseball bat may have been used on his two dump trucks. The damage includes broken windshields, headlights and running lights as well as extensive damage to the truck's bodies.

Acton says damage costs could exceed $10,000, adding that his business will be on hold for at least a week. He's offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Oakland County Sheriff's Department at 248-858-1831.
