Farmington Hills-based LinTech Global Inc. announced last week that it had been awarded 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources certification under the federal government’s Services II (STARS II) program.

Under this contract, LinTech is eligible to provide IT products and services for the next 10 years to federal agencies government-wide. LinTech was awarded all four functional areas: FA1: 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services; FA2: 541512, Computer Systems Design Services; FA3: 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services; and FA4: 541519, Other Computer Related Services.

The General Services Administration’s 8(a) STARS II is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a five-year base with one five-year option. It has a $10 billion program ceiling. It has shortened procurement lead times and a low user access fee (0.75 percent) built into contractor’s ceiling prices.

LinTech is an IT and engineering service provider to the government and commercial entities in national security, energy, environment, critical infrastructure, and healthcare arenas.  In addition to its 8(a) STARS II award, LinTech Global is a SBA certified 8(a) participant, eFAST holder, GSA IT 70 holder, Seaport-e holder, Oracle Gold Partner, and Microsoft Certified Partner.
