Southfield Firm OKd To Provide IT Services To Federal Agencies

Farmington Hills-based LinTech Global Inc. announced last week that it had been awarded 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources certification under the federal government's Services II (STARS II) program.

Under this contract, LinTech is eligible to provide IT products and services for the next 10 years to federal agencies government-wide. LinTech was awarded all four functional areas: FA1: 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services; FA2: 541512, Computer Systems Design Services; FA3: 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services; and FA4: 541519, Other Computer Related Services.

"This is another great win for LinTech," said LinTech president and CEO Michael Lin. "With this contract vehicle, along with our strategic partners, we can bring immediate value to the agencies with superior quality of services."

The General Services Administration's 8(a) STARS II is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a five-year base with one five-year option. It has a $10 billion program ceiling. It allows for Directed Order Authority & Directed task orders up to $4 million each for federal civilian and Department of Defense activities. 8(a) STARS II allows for 8(a) socioeconomic credit transferable to the agency, pre-competed, easy-to-use contracting, with access to proven 8(a) small business technology providers. It has shortened procurement lead times and a low user access fee (0.75 percent) built into contractor's ceiling prices.

LinTech is an IT and engineering service provider to the government and commercial entities in national security, energy, environment, critical infrastructure, and healthcare arenas.  In addition to its 8(a) STARS II award, LinTech Global is a SBA certified 8(a) participant, eFAST holder, GSA IT 70 holder, Seaport-e holder, Oracle Gold Partner, and Microsoft Certified Partner.
