DETROIT (WWJ) – Kid Rock’s weekend concerts at Comerica Park will have a real block party feel. The Detroit born and bred rocker says on his website that he’ll host a party in a parking lot close the ball park, starting at two o’clock Friday afternoon and noon Saturday.

The parties are free and open to the public; you don’t have to have a ticket to the concerts to get in. The festivities to include a Ferris wheel, midway games and karaoke, with proceeds going to the Kid Rock Foundation.
