Verizon Expands 4G Into Lansing Area

Verizon Wireless announced Wednesday that it is expanding what it calls the world's first large-scale 4G Long Term Evolution network into Lansing on Thursday, Aug. 18.

Residents and businesspeople who rely on 4G LTE smartphones, laptop modems and hot spots will be able to take advantage of speeds up to 10 times faster than the company¹s 3G network.

Additional cities and towns added to the expanded coverage area include: Charlotte, Dimondale, Eaton Rapids, Eden, Holt, Mason and West Windsor.
