Pot Growing Operation Busted ‘Up North’

DETROIT (WWJ) – Police have busted a major marijuana growing operation…in an area popular for “Up North” travelers.

Investigators found about 3,000 pot plants spread across five wooded areas in Roscommon County.  The sites also included camp areas, a shrine and warning signs carved in a tree.

The plants were burned after police processed the evidence.
