Central Michigan Suspends Defenders White, Fraser
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan has suspended two players for unspecified violations of athletics department policy.
The school said Wednesday that junior defensive back Lorenzo White will sit out the season opener against South Carolina State on Sept. 1. Senior defensive end Kashawn Fraser, who was suspended during spring practice, will complete his punishment by missing the opener and the Sept. 10 game at Kentucky.
The school said it would not comment on the reasons for the suspensions.
