Memorial Service Planned For Wing Walker

MANCHESTER (WWJ) – A memorial service is planned for an Ann Arbor wing walker who fell to his death while performing an aerial stunt during a show at Selfridge Air National Guard Base.

The International Council of Air Shows says a service for 48-year-old Todd Green will take place Thursday at the American Legion Post in Manchester.

Federal authorities are investigating Sunday’s accident in which Green tried to grab a helicopter’s skid from his perch atop a small plane. He fell about 200 feet to his death.
