Forecast: Gorgeous Weather For A Week!

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Hurricane Irene poses no threat to Southeast Michigan.  In fact, forecasters say we can expect very nice weather through the weekend, and pretty much all next week.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Dave Samuel says Friday's comfortable temps and sunshine will carry over into Saturday, with a high of 81.  On Sunday, it will be just a bit cooler in Metro Detroit, as Hurricane Irene passes over the east coast, with sunshine, a few clouds and a high of 75.

Monday will be sunny and clear, with more sun and a maybe just few sprinkles possible on Tuesday, and no rain in the forecast for the rest of the week.
