The Lions say goodbye to FB Jerome Felton today, releasing the veteran to get their roster down to 80. It appears the team will keep Will Heller and Joe Jon Finley as tight ends and h-backs. Felton told the Free Press that he is grateful to Martin Mayhew for releasing him now so he can latch on with another team.
