Inspection Lane Repairs On Blue Water Bridge To Begin Tuesday

PORT HURON (WWJ) - Give yourself some extra time if you are traveling to Canada via the Blue Water Bridge after the Labor Day holiday. Post-holiday construction will begin at the Blue Water Bridge on Tuesday.

Pavement repair is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 6, on seven of the 13 lanes leading into the inspection booths on the U.S. side of the Blue Water Bridge.

All work on this $773,000 investment is expected to be completed by November, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
