Max Scherzer didn't get the win - but he pitched seven strong innings, allowing just two earned runs....and the Tigers record improved to 19-11 on days he starts. Wilson Betemit homered earlier in the game to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead, Victor Martinez had a two-out RBI single in the 4th for the Tigers' other run. Inge hit his home run off Glen Perkins, who had allowed just 1HR in 56 innings going into the game.
