Technology Firm Core3 Solutions Moves 'Home' To Troy

TROY -- Founded in 1997 by Troy High School students Paul Chambers and Ryan Deyer, Core3 Solutions has grown substantially over the past 14 years.

Based in Birmingham since 2004, Core3 has returned to its roots with an office space in Troy that accommodates their growth and fosters continued innovation.

At 10,000 square feet, the new headquarters at 1504 Combermere Drive is three times larger than Core3's previous office space, giving Core3 room to expand current operations and inspire growth of its recently launched C3 LabSpace. With an open office layout, full kitchen, arcade games, two indoor basketball hoops and driving range, the space is designed to allow Core3's 14 employees to be creative, outside-the-box thinkers.

"The success of our business is due to our knowledgeable, passionate employees and our drive to innovate," said Paul Chambers, CEO.  "We create effective, cost-saving and money-earning solutions for a variety of clients ranging from small businesses to large manufacturers.  Not only have our clients been impressed with the results Core3 has achieved, whenever they need something, we're very responsive."

What began as two entrepreneurs providing home computer service and building Web sites for small businesses has grown to include several spinoffs from internal projects. Started one year ago, Core3's incubator C3 LabSpace recently launched two new projects and one new hobby with the help of their entrepreneurial employees. Quotegine.com, a Software as a Service application provides quick and easy online proposal creation, while HavorNeed.com creates an innovative way to find or sell stuff online. Additionally, Paul and the IT staff started Michigan Arcade Games, which is an after-hours hobby of restoring old arcade games and pinball machines.

"Our ability to try new things and experiment with new technologies at Core3 Solutions not only helps us grow, but also allows our employees develop their own entrepreneurial spirit." said Curtis Hays, vice president of Core3 Solutions and partner in Quotegine.com. "With C3 LabSpace, Paul and Ryan have created an incubator which allows employees to bring in their own ideas, use our internal resources to bring those ideas to life, and allows the employee to share in the ownership. Quotegine and HavorNeed would not have been possible without our team at Core3 Solutions."

Core3 will be hosting an open house Sept. 22 to show off its new space and latest offerings. Guests can RSVP on their website or through email to openhouse@core3solutions.com.
