TEDx Is Coming to Midland

Inspired by TED, and independently organized by a group of Midland individuals who believe in the power of ideas to change the world, TEDxMidland invites leading thinkers and doers to participate in an inspiring day of thought-provoking presentations, performances and conversations.

The inaugural event, Evolve, is an open-ended invitation for speakers and listeners to consider new ideas.

At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.

The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. St. Andrews Road in Midland.
