Police Seek Tips In Royal Oak Stabbing Death
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Police are investigating after a 41-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in her Royal Oak apartment.
WWJ's Ron Dewey said co-workers found the body of Ranae Ann Chupick inside her apartment at the corner of Rochester and Windemere, just north of 13 Mile Road. They had stopped by to check on her when she didn't show up for work.
The woman's apartment is one of three units located above several businesses.
Investigators said Chupick was attacked and killed inside the unit, although there was no sign of forced entry.
No one has been arrested, and police are looking for tips in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Royal Oak Police Department at (248) 246-3500.
