Which Michiganders Made Forbes' Richest List?

DETROIT (WWJ) - A few Michigan business owners are among the richest people in America.

Dick Devos of Amway fame and Frederick Meijer who started the Meijer store chain are listed as 60th on the list worth five billion dollars.

Real estate mogul Alfred Taubman is 159th on the richest list with a net worth of 2.5 billion dollars.

Ronda Stryker from Portage who is part of the Stryker Corporation is worth 2.3 billion, good for 171st on the list.

Mike and Marion Ilitch, the owners of Little Caesars along with the Tigers and Red Wings were 212th on the list with a net worth of two billion dollars.

Quicken Loans founder Dan Gilbert, who lives in Franklin, and Matty Maroun who owns the Ambassador Bridge and transportation companies are 293rd on the list with fortunes of 1.5 billion dollars.

William Ford of Ford Motor Company and Jon Stryker from Kalamazoo are 375th on the list with a net worth of 1.1 billion.

Tom Gores, who bought the Detroit Pistons, is 159th on the richest list with a fortune of 2.5 billion dollars.

The top 10 people on this year's Forbes 400 list are:

- Bill Gates, $59 billion (topped the list for the 18th year in a row)
- Warren Buffett, $39 billion
- Larry Ellison, $33 billion
- Charles Koch, $25 billion and David Koch, $25 billion. (TIE)
- Christy Walton & family, $24.5 billion
- George Soros, $22 billion
- Sheldon Adelson, $21.5 billion
- Jim Walton, $21.1 billion
- Alice Walton, $20.9 billion

In total, 18 people made it to the Forbes 400 for the first time this year, including Napster co-founder Sean Parker, who ranked 200th, and John Henry, majority owner of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool FC, at No. 375.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was the biggest dollar-gainer on the list, with a net worth of $17.5 billion that earned him the No. 14 spot.

There were 42 women on the list, including media mogul Oprah Winfrey at No. 139, with a net worth of $2.7 billion.
