DETROIT (AP) - Former Michigan State University baseball coach Danny Litwhiler has died in Clearwater, Florida, at 95.

A former Major League player, Litwhiler coached at Florida State before spending 19 seasons in East Lansing, producing Big Ten championships in 1971 and '79.
