Red Wings Beat Blackhawks 4-3 In Shootout
DETROIT (AP) - Todd Bertuzzi and Henrik Zetterberg scored shootout goals to give the Detroit Red Wings a 4-3 preseason win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday.
Valtteri Filppula had a goal and two assists and Zetterberg and Nicklas Lidstrom a goal and an assist apiece for Detroit. Ty Conklin made 21 saves.
Brandon Pirri had two goals and an assist and scored in the shootout, and Jimmy Hayes added a goal and an assist for Chicago. Alexander Salek stopped 30 shots.
Pirri's goal 9:23 into the third period tied the game at 3.
Detroit forward Jan Mursak fractured his left ankle late in the second period.
