In a police report obtained by WWJ Newsradio 950, Mark Bidwell told officers that he met Steven Fitch on a gay dating website and they agreed to go to his house for sex. Bidwell said that around 11 p.m., the 43-year-old Fitch dosed them each with a syringe of Crystal Meth.

Accordiing to the report, the pair then invited a third man to join them. Around 5 a.m., the two men said, Fitch became ill and began turning blue.

Police arrived and performed CPR on Fitch, but he was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital.

Police said they discovered what appears to be blood on the stairs of bidwell’s home, the wall and the bathroom floor. His death has been ruled an overdose.

  1. A Michigan Resident says:

Metro Detroit really is mired in lots of civic scandals these days. Detroit’s problem are deep in history but recent events in Romulus and now Ferndale puts one uncomfortable with the quality of police protection. And even the chaplain is getting in on the fun. What good are laws when the people elected and selected to uphold them are worse than the misfits they chase.

Michigan really needs to get smarter

This guy did this a million times, before this happened. That is the real gay lifestyle, when you look at it for what it is. The web made it easier to have a guy come by your house and have sex, and then a few hours later, another guy to come over for the same thing. One time, in NYC, I saw a whole pier of thousands of men having sex. They all looked so miserable. The police had to know, it was a regular thing. Some clubs, it happens on the dance floor, and they used to snort poppers all the time. Now, it’s this speed? These people are obsessed w this, like rats in an experiment will hit that button, and not even eat, if given the chance to be rewarded w cocaine.
