Manhattan Christian College Selects Bingham Farms Firm's Student Info System

BINGHAM FARMS -- Bingham Farms-based ComSpec International Inc. said Wednesday that after a 12 month review, Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, Kan. selected ComSpec's Empower Student Information System to manage its academic information.

"After being with several different software programs for many years, we wanted to make a move to a unified software solution" said Aaron Brent, the school's director of IT. "After an exhaustive review we found that Empower was truly integrated and that we would be able to seamlessly move information across the campus from admissions through alumni and donor development. "

Empower SIS is well suited to meet the needs of institutions that are using various systems across their campus, which are not integrated and have multiple databases. In fact, the company has helped many institutions move from a variety of homegrown programs to a single source student information platform helping them save time and money.

Empower is a fully integrated Student Information System supporting the management needs of colleges and universities. Its modular design supports ease and efficiency in recruitment, admissions, records and registration, degree audit, financial aid, alumni relations and many more. Empower's Oracle database offers the industry's best security allowing your institution's data to be stored in one central location, managed, updated and accessed in real-time. Empower is available to license or use as SaaS based on your institution's technical needs. The full Empower package includes implementation, training, conversion, support, maintenance and ongoing updates. For more information visit www.empowersis.com.
