Study: Gov’t Green Jobs Initiative Short Of Goals

DETROIT (WWJ) – A $500 million program designed to train workers for green jobs has not lived up to expectations according to the Labor Department.

The goal was to place 80,000 workers in the field of energy efficiency or renewable energy by 2013.
