DETROIT (WWJ) – So, you think you can act? Greektown Casino-Hotel is now accepting video entries for the casino’s new advertising campaign.

According to the Greektown Casting Call website, which is accepting the submissions, videos should tell your Greektown story.

Casino spokeswoman Lloryn Love said all you have to do is send the casino a video or picture and tell them why you think Greektown is a special part of Detroit.

“Just be real. Be who you are This is not about acting, it’s about being who you are every day,” Love told WWJ’s Sandra McNeil.

“You know, showcasing … ‘Hey, I’m this person, this is who I am and I’m proud to be like this.’ That’s what makes up Detroit,” Love said.

The contest is only for those 21 years or older.

The website went live Wednesday and is accepting videos until Oct. 28, 2011. Selection of entries will conclude Nov. 4, 2011. Forms and upload instructions can be found at greektowncastingcall.com

The selected videos and participants will be announced at a special event to be held in conjunction with a preview of the new advertising campaign.
