Cloud Storage services, such as Dropbox, allow college students to easily store and share documents, photos, videos and other types of files over the internet – easing the way they communicate and learn in school.
Using file synchronization, Dropbox automatically backs up files across all of your computers as well as to the cloud.
Once a document is saved on one computer it can be accessed from any other synced device such as a laptop, desktop computer or a smart phone.
This way, the latest and greatest version of that term paper is always available to you, no matter what computer you are working from.
For group projects, students can also share files and folders with others to work together on the same document.
Finally, should a file be accidentally deleted, Dropbox allows you to restore previously deleted files and undo file changes.
