‘Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour’ Heading To Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) – “Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour” is a visual extravaganza that arrives in Detroit on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.

The tour is presented by the Estate of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil. Producers describe it as a “once-in-a-lifetime electrifying production that will combine Michael Jackson music and choreography with Cirque du Soleil creativity.”

The World Premiere was held in Montreal this week with members of the Jackson family in attendance.

The creative team behind the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour is the largest every for a Cirque du Soleil production and includes native Detroiter Greg Phillinganes, who is the tour’s music director.
