Epitec Group Awarded Minority Supplier of the Year: The Southfield technology services and staffing provider Epitec Group has been awarded Minority Supplier of the Year by corporate members of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council. "We strive hard to be the top supplier with all our individual corporate clients," said Josie Sheppard, president of Epitec. "We greatly appreciate that our clients have acknowledged us collectively with this award." This is the second time in recent years that Epitec has been awarded the designation in the Class III category for minority business enterprises with annual revenues between $10 and $50 million. The award recognizes Epitec for outstanding success in the areas of growth and development, operational performance, direct spending with other minority owned businesses, and community involvement. Other awards received recently include Metro Detroit's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For and Cool Places to Work by Crain's Detroit Business and the American Society of Employers.
