SRT Solutions' Burton Honored As Microsoft MVP:  SRT Solutions senior consultant Dennis Burton was recently awarded Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Azure by Microsoft.  Burton's MVP designation from Microsoft recognizes his leadership in the technical community, and specifically in cloud computing. According to Microsoft, MVPs are a "select group of experts that represent the technical community's best and brightest, and share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others."  Azure is Microsoft's Cloud Services Platform. This is the first year that Microsoft has named Azure MVPs. In addition to Burton, SRT Solutions has four other Microsoft MVPs on its team; Bill Wagner, Darrell Hawley, Patrick Steele and Chris Marinos are also Microsoft MVPs. There are only 4,000 Microsoft MVPs worldwide. Burton's past work includes learning management systems, precision measurement and statistical applications, as well as automotive diagnostic software. His expertise is on the Microsoft platform primarily in the web space, and he works with open source tools on the .Net platform. Active in the tech community, Burton serves on the boards of the Lansing .Net User Group and the Ann Arbor .Net User Group. More at www.SRTSolutions.com.
