Police Search For Second Suspect In Attempted Murder

PONTIAC (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says one suspect has been arrested and another suspect remains at large in connection with an attempted murder earlier this week.

Detectives say 18-year-old Quentin Luster of Pontiac has been arrested for assault with intent to commit murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Luster was currently out on bond for carrying a concealed weapon, which stems from a Sheriff's Office arrest in Pontiac on September.

His arrest stems from an incident on Oct. 12, when a 50-year-old female resident of Pontiac was shot in the chest. Police say the suspects were shooting into a residence on Irwin near Martin Luther King and Sanford when the woman received a gunshot wound. The woman is currently in stable condition at a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

A second suspect, 24-year-old William Charles Osborne Jr. of White Lake Township, is wanted on the same charges and remains at large. Osborne has an extensive criminal history involving weapons, assaults and drugs. Police say Osborne is considered armed and dangerous.

A reward is being offered for information leading to Osborne's arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers in three ways -- text your tip to CRIMES (274637), call 1-800-SPEAK UP, or go online at www.1800speakup.org.
