Finding a new job can be frustrating. Here are 4 ways to re-think your job search:

* Out with the old: We're no longer flipping through classified ads in the newspaper. The Internet introduced a whole new way to apply for more jobs more quickly. Applying for numerous jobs online does not necessarily mean you will have more success. It's important to find the job and the company that's right for you. Once you determine you are a good fit for a position, take it one step further, learn about the company culture and make sure their values align with yours. If they do, then submit your application. This will increase your chances of success in getting the job and once you are hired.

* There is no box: There is no set formula for the job search, so think outside the box. Be creative -- network, volunteer, write a blog that showcases your expertise, talk to anyone and everyone who will listen and do something you are passionate about. People will take notice.

* No one said it would be easy: The average job search takes 90 to 120 days and it takes determination. If you are unemployed, you may need to take on part time work. But if you stay committed and true to your search, you will find the job that's right for you.

* Never underestimate your power: There's nothing stronger in the universe than human will. It has no boundaries, no limitations, no definition, and the best part is you control yours. Many successful people will tell you that they were not necessarily the best in their field, and there were others with more raw talent, but the one thing they possessed that the others did not was the sheer will to never quit – as long as you believe in what you are doing, nothing can stop you.
