INDEPENDENCE TWP. (WWJ) – Authorities believe they are closing in on two men who held up the Ruby Tuesday’s in Independence Township late Sunday night.

Police said no customers were inside the restaurant on Sashabaw Road at the time when suspects entered through a rear door when a cook went outside to empty the trash. One suspect reportedly had a handgun.

A police K-9 unit tracked down a laptop stolen from the restaurant.

Both suspects are described as white males in their late teens or early 20′s  Both were wearing hoodies and with bandannas covering their faces.  A handgun was seen and described as a possible revolver.

No injuries were reported.  The investigation continues.
