D-Dot Bus Accident Leaves A Dozen Injured

DETROIT (WWJ) - An accident on the city's east side left a dozen injured Tuesday evening.

Police told WWJ two cars and a D-Dot bus were involved in a collision at Gratiot and Fairmount in Detroit that left 12 people transferred to an area hospital.

WWJ's Gary Lundy reported one of the cars is believed to have cut off the D-Dot bus causing the accident.

The SUV was carrying a woman and two teenagers. A niece told 7 Action News the woman was shaken and the teens suffered minor injuries.They were taken to the hospital, as were a number of people from the bus and the driver from the car. The exact nature of the injuries isn't known.
