The Board of Directors and the Trustees of the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation invited sponsors and media to the 2011 Parade Preview Party presented by Art Van Furniture on Wednesday, October 19. Despite cold temperatures and rain, the crowds still showed up to 9500 Mt. Ellions Studio A to get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the parade preparations.
Guests saw The Parade Company hard at work crafting floats, costumes and other creations for the 85th America’s Thanksgiving Parade. They also had the opportunity to witness the unveiling of the new Art Van Furniture float, see many of the floats up close, participate in activities and indulge in complimentary refreshments provided by Culver’s of Roseville, Just Baked, Garden Fresh Gourmet, Mercurio’s, Jackson 5 Star Catering, Mary Denning’s Cake Shoppe and Henry Ford Community College.
