Relatives Sought To Claim Cremated Remains

ROSEVILLE (WWJ/AP) - Authorities are trying to find family members to claim the cremated remains of 68 people that were discovered at a Roseville funeral home.

The state's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs on Friday released a list that includes names and dates of death for those whose remains were found at Buehler Funeral Home.

The funeral home operators, 62-year-old Mark Buehler and his wife 47-year-old Lisa, each pleaded guilty to more than three dozen charges connected to a pre-paid funeral scam in which they may have collected up to $500,000 from as many as 200 people.

The funeral home was shut by the state in April.

The state is working with Roseville police to reach family members. They should contact Detective Mark Pratt at 586-447-4505 within 15 days.

Remains that are unclaimed by Nov. 4 will be buried at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Macomb County's Clinton Township.

The list is posted on the agency's website at this link.
