METEOR BREAKS UP OVER METRO DETROIT SKIES, CAUSES EARTHQUAKE: MAGNITUDE 2.0 BLAST| CHIEF THOUGHT IT WAS 'THE END'| WATCH IT ON VIDEO|
By Tony Ortiz

Interesting fact about Sunday’s game in Denver: the Lions haven’t won a regular season contest played in the Mile High City since 1971, when they beat the Broncos 24 -20. Hall of Famer Charlie Sanders scored the game-winning touchdown, as he caught a 5 yard scoring strike from Greg Landry in the fourth quarter.

The Lions have lost the other three regular season games played in Denver – those games were held in 1981, 1987 and 2003.
