Animal Rescue Nonprofit Opening Support Line, Web Site

DETROIT -- On Tuesday, Nov. 8, All About Animals Rescue will open its Pet Support Line, which offers help to those having pet issues as well as those who want to adopt and want help finding their new family member.

Owners in need of assistance can access the Pet Support Line by calling 855-303-PETS ((855) 303-7387) or going online at www.petsupportline.org. The Pet Support Line was made possible by a grant provided by the Banfield Charitable Trust.

The Pet Support Line offers owners alternatives to abandonment by providing support with behavioral and training issues, assistance with finding pet-friendly housing for those relocating with their pets and help finding pet services and food.

For those who will offer a good home to a shelter pet, but need help finding the right match, a Pet Support Line representative will be happy to aid in the search. They're also available to answer questions and assist with the adoption process.

"The mission of All About Animals Rescue is No More Homeless Pets, and each of us can make a difference in reaching that goal," said Amber Sitko, president of All About Animals Rescue. "Some just need a little help. The Pet Support Line is an opportunity for all of us to work together. Giving up is not an option. We also want to thank the Banfield Charitable Trust for its support."

All About Animals Rescue is a nonprofit organization whose mission is no more homeless pets in Michigan. They were the first high volume, low cost spay and neuter clinic to open in southeast Michigan and the first to provide monthly TNR training along with discounted feral cat sterilization programs.
