Tony Ortiz: Schwartz Talks About Suh’s Meeting

During Jim Schwartz’s weekly appearance on the Karsch and Anderson show today, the Lions’ coach talked about Ndamukong Suh’s meeting in New York with NFL officials – a group that will include league vice-president Ray Anderson: “You know, we’re real proud of him for representing our team. He’s a good guy and a really good teammate. He’s a hard worker and football’s important to him…..and his image is important to him. He wants to do things within the rules, he wants to play hard and he wants to play physical. We all want that as coaches and as players, and I think that’s the best thing that could come from this meeting (with NFL officials).”

    Tony,
I enjoy your commentaries. Here is something I put together you might enjoy.

    Ndamukong Suh
Sung to the tune of “Runaround Sue” by
Dion & The Belmonts (1960’s group)

Here’s my story, it’s sad but fact
It’s about a guy that’s on the attack
He beat me up then ran around
Stomping any guy once he’s down

I should have known from the very start
This guy would leave me with broken parts
Now people listen what I’m telling you
    A-keep away from Ndamukong Suh

I don’t miss his hits and the sneer on his face
The smacks from his hands and his killer embrace
So, if you don’t want to hurt like I do
    A-keep away from Ndamukong Suh

He likes to travel around, yeah
He’ll kick you once he pulls you down
Now people let me put you wise
Suh beats up many other guys

Here’s the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I’m still in pain and my hurt still shows
Ask any player he ever knew, they’ll say
    A-keep away from Ndamukong Suh

Yeah, keep away from this guy
I know, know what he’ll do,
    Keep away from Suh

He likes to travel around, yeah
He’ll kick you once he pulls you down
Now people let me put you wise
Suh beats up many other guys

Here’s the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I’m still in pain and my hurt still shows
Ask any player he ever knew, they’ll say
    A-keep away from Ndamukong Suh

    Stay away from that guy
Don’t you know what to do now

    Keep away from that guy
Don’t you know what to do now
