DETROIT — Love to code? Want to work on exciting new projects or get in on the ground floor of a startup?

If you are a developer, coder or software engineer or front end designer that wants to join a new startup, you need to come to Bizdom Detroit’s Hacker & Entrepreneur Match Up Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the Centaur Bar, 2233 Third Ave., Third Floor, Detroit.

Event organizers promise to introduce attendees to Detroit’s coolest new startups to see if they might be a good fit for their team. Co-founder and project-based opportunities for developers are available!

Happy hour starts at 6:30 p.m. The matchup runs from 7 to 8 p.m., featuring speed meetings with attendees and  Bizdom startups, followed by open networking.

The event features free appetizers are provided by Bizdom and a cash bar with $3 beers and an impressive array of martinis at a great downtown Detroit bar.

What kinds of skills are in demand? Here’s a non-comprehensive list: C, C#, Objective C, Java, PHP, AJAX, Javascript, Java, Perl, Python, VB.NET, Flex, Ruby and RoR, MSQL, HTML5, XML, Flash. Open source experience is a plus.
