Mayor Bing Has Change Of Heart; Now Accepting Salary
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit Mayor Dave Bing, who had been only accepting one dollar for a salary, has apparently had a change of heart.
Since July, Mayor Bing has been accepting his normal salary which amounts to more than $13,000 a month.
When he first took office, Mayor Bing said he would use the money from his salary to help pay for police and fire.
