Elections: What’s At Issue?

DETROIT (WWJ) – Area voters are getting ready to head to the polls Tuesday, November 8  to make their voices heard on local issues.

Voters in Detroit will be deciding whether to adopt a new city charter. And there are plenty more issues where that came from.

Overall, Warren and Livonia voters will be electing a mayor.

Southfield residents will be deciding who will sit on city council.

Voters in Allen Park, Dearborn,  W. Bloomfield,  Hazel Park and  Royal Oak will be asked to vote on millage increases.

Fenton and Grand Blanc voters will consider the recall of state Rep. Paul Scott.
