Police Looking For Victim & Suspect Involved In Party Store Shooting

YPSILANTI (WWJ) – Washtenaw County Sheriff’s officials are looking for whoever was involved in a weekend party store shooting. It happened at the In and Out party store, located at the intersection of Harris and Share streets.

Witnesses say a light-colored two-door car pulled into the parking lot just before 1:00 p.m. Saturday.  Shortly thereafter, a second vehicle … possibly a Chevy HHR … pulled into the lot and someone from the car started firing shots into that vehicle.  Both fled the scene.

The suspect’s car was last seen heading north on Harris Street.  The victim’s vehicle was found a short time later on Jeffrey Street, not far from the party store.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s department or crime stoppers.
