Theron's Blog: A Classic On A Carrier

Tonight the Michigan State Spartans will play the North Carolina Tarheels in San Diego on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson. I love this idea, not just because my favorite team is playing in it, but because as a veteran of the US Army, I am glad the NCAA and these 2 great basketball teams have created an event to honor America's heroes. If you didn't know the USS Carl Vinson is the same ship that the body of Osama bin Laden was brought aboard after his death. This is going to be a spectacular event, there will be tons of service members in the crowd and even President Obama will be in attendance. I am proud to be a Michigan State Spartan fan, a veteran of the US Army and above all, An American! Events like this help show the world that we are  proud of our service men and women! And we will always be victorious! Go Green and GO RED WHITE AND BLUE!
