TROY (WWJ) – What’s your idea of entertainment? Music? Movies? Sports? All of the above? For sure! But, add shopping to my list as well.
Anyone who loves shopping as much as I do will definitely understand why shopping can be considered a form of entertainment. And especially during the fun-filled holiday season!
Here are just a few reasons why:
Bargains, bargains, bargains!
Sample, samples, samples!
And, just about anything you’re looking for can be found while holiday shopping! And, at a bargain!
For example, during a brief shopping trip with my son to Oakland Mall on Monday, I was able to pick up a beautiful rug in a Poinsettia design from Macy’s at half price! The rug was regularly priced at $39.99, but I only paid $19.99! Definitely worth waiting for since I had been eyeing that rug for several weeks but just couldn’t bring myself to pay regular price. And, my son was able to add several new pieces to his wardrobe at practically rock-bottom prices, thanks to the sale and Macy’s early-bird specials.
Tip: Macy’s “Biggest One Day Sale” ends today. Be sure to print your Savings Pass before heading out.
Lots of other stores are currently holding sales and there are plenty more coming up just in time for Black Friday. Happy shopping!
