Farmington Standoff With Police Ends Peacefully
FARMINGTON (WWJ) - A peaceful end to a standoff Monday in Farmington.
The city's Public Safety Director Bob Schulz tell WWJ that around 3 p.m. police received a call of a possible domestic assault in progress at the Chatham Hills Apartments.
When police arrived they found a man who made unspecified statements that made them fear for his safety and that of a small child in the apartment.
The suspect eventually surrendered after a three-hour standoff.
Possible charges will be decided by the prosecutor's office.
