Police: Meals On Wheels Delivery Guy Sexually Assaulted Recipients

PONTIAC (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Department said they've arrested a 67-year-old Meals on Wheels delivery man who is accused of sexually assaulting the program's recipients.

Garry Reynolds of Orion was arraigned Monday on charges of second- and fourth- degree criminal sexual conduct.

Sheriff's Deputies say on Friday they received a complaint from a 79-year old Orion Township woman who was receiving the meals. The woman told police that when Reynolds delivered meals to her at her home, he would kiss her, hug her, press his body into her breasts and rub her butt.

The woman also said Reynolds grabbed her from behind and rubbed her breasts with his hands and in at least one instance attempted to force the victim's hand down the front of his pants and into his crotch. The victim refused and had bruising on her hand from his hard grasp.

Investigators interviewed numerous women who said Reynolds attempted to hug and kiss them, but investigators determined that Reynolds' actions with the other females were not criminal.

Reynolds remains in the Oakland County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
